Yeah yeah. Let's all carry swords, guns and have at it in the street. Way to go.
<The beauty of it is you don't outlaw the action, you make the burner an outlaw ( in the old norse sense of the word ). You reject the civil authority, the civil authority declines to extend its protection. >

Making a law about being allowed to attack flag-burners is ridiculous. If there's going to be a law, it might as well be just the usual Islamic Jihad style where you drag the individual in to the court and burn them at the stake.

Why do a back to front law which means vigilante justice? What if it wasn't a flag but the moron doing the attacking mistook it for a flag? Or somebody burned a newspaper with a flag on the masthead and some moron attacked the person burning a newspaper at a campfire?

If you want to do away with freedom then be honest and do it. Don't hide behind murderous vigilantes.

If you think that's beauty, that's a weird sense of beauty. But they say beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Bull-fighting and throat-cutting of Americans is beautiful too. All that lovely red colour is great - Islamic Jihad loves it and videos it and rubs their hands in it.

No wonder there's carnage around the world. Those who fail to learn from history are doomed to keep on repeating this cliche.
