"You know there is something crooked when no proposal is ever put forward for people's money to be invested in REAL ASSETS versus fiat money and worthless paper to keep SS solvent. There is a deliberate effort on the part of the Feds, either party, to make damn sure that people's SS retirement funds are not invested in any assets whatsover. This is flat out criminal in nature."

Yep, they are trying to pull a fast one.

Their main interest appears to be in keeping their ability to grow the government and run up endless debt.

Anything that would allow people to invest in a broader range of investments (including foreign and real assets), or anything that would force their spending back on-budget... you hear only silence out of Washington about.
