I'd really never heard of George Galloway before yesterday. Now, he's my hero! I suppose I should be a little more careful in adopting heros, but I also was against the war in Iraq right from the start, although I'd supported Bush's efforts in Afghanistan.

Even if Saddam had WMD, he wasn't stupid enough to use them on us, or give them to anyone who could. At one point, the Bushies were fearmongering about Saddam's missles, while leaving out that none of them had the range to strike the US. To anyone with a brain, it was obvious that Bush just wanted to go to war. Before 9/11, his approval rating was headed for the toilet. After 9/11, it was through the roof. To oppose him was unpatriotic, unAmerican.

Galloway could always move here and run for something in a Blue state. He's an instant hero here for us lefties.
