Buchanan is a man of many contradictions.

Scott,

Buchanan is a loose cannon. While I like his anti-war stance, he can say the damnedest things.

Last week, for example, he suggested that the U.S. should have remained neutral w/r/t Hitler. What a moronic thing to suggest after Hitler declared war on the U.S.

Buchanan is someone who ought to be run out of politics. He's dangerously deranged.

Buchanon also stated that the rightwing has lost the debate in the US, mainly because after the Schiavo case it was clear that swingvoters don't like or trust the religious right.
