Mr Audubon, sir: Birds for me be a real concern, cuz I mean birds. Hawks and vultures gonna be sitting on any high spot around, and I've got mucho birdies...several kinds of hawks, kites(bird kind) jays, all kinds of song birds; within a few miles of a bald eagle sighting; great blue heron and ducks. A friend even swears she saw a Calif. condor at the Hog Farm a few salmon runs ago. I'd hate to slice up the northernmost extremely rare and endangered condor, eh? Besides, who would eat the pieces? Also, I've seen turkeys sitting maybe 100 feet up in fir trees, so I might slice one of them. Which wouldn't be too bad.
But turns out I have no reason to go that way. I can make my meter go backwards, but going below zero doesn't get me a check in the mail. It gets PGE free power. So I'm just gonna catch enuf photons off da roof to more or less break even.
