I hope they haven't learned the lesson and I don't think they have, because they will lose every national election to come in the future. Schumer IS part of the far left. Look at his position on gun rights? He is on a personal crusade to take the 2nd Amendment followed by which right next, free speech, religion? He would take our guns first and then make anybody working a job for less than 80K a year would be forcibily herded onto a Kibbuts or Commune.
