Its a solid argument. It is one thing to say Saddam passed money, it is entirely different to say "I received the money"

No, kumar, it is not solid, even it is passes muster as a "reasonable doubt" argument acquitting a criminal charge, it doesn't pass any kind of a smell test. When his close associate got the money, and piles of Iraqi documents and Iraqi officials all attest that Galloway was a bribee, plus there is his record of fawning support of Saddam since the early 1990s (he interviewed Saddam and asked how he managed to stay so "strong and resolute" for example), no reasonable person needs to doubt that Galloway did in fact receive the money, however he laundered it.
