Hi kumar....What services do you receive in Aus that feature US News...are they all Intl services (i.e. ABC Intl, CNN Intl, NBC Intl....or are they directly from the US?)

We noticed the very same thing on TV in not only Canada but Singapore when we were there....However, I do like the Singapore Straits...By FAR better and more interesting than the Seattle Times or most US papers that I've seen. They manage to actually have some news in it, and not as much bias/propaganda as most do....

Again, to check on how much propaganda your paper has, first see how many by-lines are on the front page...there should be NONE. They belong on the opinion page. Otherwise you have an opinion, not news.

And second, take out every adverb and every adjective from every sentence in the article. Write them down if necessary. See which way they are leaning. That little exercise is MOST interesting to do....just in case you think you are reading unbiased news.

Yet, it seems the rest of the world covers the us in great detail daily.
