Without studies all you have are anecdotes- and those are about as reliable as opinions. Anecdotes, even by people who work in an area, are not reliable. That's why all reputable studies require hard numbers, data in other words- whether you are an engineer, or a biologist, or a farmer. No engineer says "Well of course our meter works, doesn't my experience in the 3d world count?", when he is talking to the FDA about health equipment. It's simply logical to have studies, because people aren't logical by nature, and they believe all sorts of crazy things, if there aren't any hard numbers on the table.

The 3d world COUNTS, but what you are lacking is proof. And getting huffy about the fact that you can't provide any proof for what you say, just makes what you say look more suspect.
