Another liberal non-answer. A poll that is constructed to find out in depth what people think is one thing. The mis-use of polls by constructing them to elicit a specific result is quite another and there is way too much of that. Not to mention that polls are becoming a substitute for hard news taking up way too much space in print and on the airwaves.

Why are you so obsessed with the "mood and interests of the public...."? Why do you feel the need to "determine what the public cared about?". You should pay more attention to what YOU care about, and make a case for whatever THAT may be.
