I tend to be like that, to. But at some point, there has to be a payoff for all that. You do better in bad times, but I'm thinking at some point I really have to go the other way. What's the point of saving for your retirement once you have retired? If that time hits for me when the rest of the world is suffering, I'll get even better value for it. I'll start drawing down on my savings to keep living like a king; no matter what coffee goes up to, I'm gonna live like a king, but not English 'cuz they drink tea.
