Either of you seen any sunshine lately? Give me some hope. My skin is turning moldy.

Did you say you were installing a solar system of power?

Did that salesman recently lose his job selling ice to Inuits?

<g>

I'd be interested in hearing what type of system you are
getting?

Are the cells expensive?

I assume they charge a row of batteries whose power gets
converted to 220/110 volt AC from DC.

I'm also curious how it back feeds to the grid.
Will your electric meter spin backwards when you are feeding
the grid? Or is there a special meter that gets installed?

I've been way too busy lately and can't keep up with your
cool thread.

Please make sure to post highlights here as I don't find time
to read anywhere else.

I remember reading a while back about a company who was
making roofing shingles that were solar cells. Sounds like a
cool ap. Must be very high priced otherwise I'm sure we
would have seen more about them...

WR,

Sun? In the Bay Area? Get serious. <G>

This has been the strangest "spring" weather-wise that I can recall.
