With 250,000 hogs in the county they only produce enough manure to fertilize about 5% of the farms plus it's overly strong on the N and weak on the P&K so other fertilizers are still needed. Plus with all that Nitrogen it takes extra lime to keep the acid right.

Factory farmed animals are so pumped full of antibiotics and growth hormones, I am wondering if organic farmers would want to flood their fields with the terror, agony and despair that this manure represents.
