I hope GOOG does spur the sale of computers, as I am heavily invested in semis. I just do not see it.

If you are a web site operator or store you would be collecting all information right down to the session id and page id of any given user order. You are right, there are search based tools that will regenerate the http page if you wanted to find out what the customer was doing at any given point or if he/she complains about incorrect order. But I am not sure if GOOG has neccassarily been the tool of choice for this purpose.
