Mike, equating Barbara Boxer and Ramsay Clark with Brown and Owen is a ridiculous strawman. Brown and Owen are judges, with judicial records that don't reveal them to be extremists in any way, despite what the NYT Times editorial board thinks. They are both qualified. Boxer was never even an attorney, and I don't think Clark was ever a judge. "Let the minority keep abusing the filibuster just in case a totally unqualified candidate is nominated someday" doesn't fly with me. ps. Yep, very dry down here too. I hate to have to water so much because our water pressure is lousy, but the new plantings need it.
