It sure looks like we're headed toward a single realistic option: get the heck out abandoning the 3,000 person $1B embassy and the 14 permanent bases. Abandon all the ammo dumps, the heavy equipment and, for goodness sakes, the oil. Deal with $100/bbl oil and the death of the US car industry, most of the big airlines and a very deep recession.

Heck, the Shias are used to Bushes abandoning them so it won't come as much of a surprise. The Kurds will probably just give up and declare martial law in Kirkuk. Who knows what the Sunnis will do, flee to Syria?

What else are we going to do? Iraq is pumping LESS OIL now than before the war when the Bush administration and US Military looked the other way while Texas Bayoil violated the UN sanctions...by the tanker load.

WHAT A MESS. Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Republicans are yakking about abortion, gay marriage and the killing of the filibuster and the destruction of FDR's hard-working legacy?

Republicans = utter, absolute incompetents. They could at least have waited for the inevitable 2 month lull before ignoring the war in Iraq.
