You should take some of our overflow

The Baltimore area market is all about taking over flow from DC. The counties south of Baltimore prices are still nutso, so people who work further north have chosen to sell their houses to the DC over flow and move further north to my area which is too far to commute to DC but reasonable if you want to drive into Baltimore. This has been a primary driver in this boom and in the last. In the last boom RE specs from DC would buy up whole blocks for what they would pay for a shell in DC. They wound up stuck with the properties or dumped them for a loss.

When I say no real buyers, I mean that when new houses become available they are being bought by those looking to flip, not those wanting to live in them.
