Theodore Roosevelt was an exception, a standout before all the US presidents from FDR on. The presidents from FDR on were crooked, dishonest, dishonourable, and predatory in one way or another. To them, ethics and morals don't count for much so long as America comes out on top!!! IMHO, America has incurred negative karma which will come back to roost on America in days to come --- all this in accordance with the Golden Rule and the Biblical injunction, "As you sow, so shall you reap."
