Can you catch OCD?

<I've seen O.C.D. get worse with a cold, with hay fever,
with pneumonia. If there is anything special about strep,
I don't think anyone has been able to find it.>

I know it isn't very scientific <g> but after Miriel's
pneumonia, she had a lot of anxiety about going anywhere
--to school, to the park, did not matter; she didn't
want to leave home.

Happily, the anxiety cleared up with a few
applications of fairy dust--and the condition
subsided in about a week.

As she gets older, I am going to need a more
convincing placebo--but I hope not more than that.
(Folks will remember thay my brother has OCD, so
I follow the subject, albeit a bit casually)
