Agreed that the intent is to take control of the oil and to use Iraq as an oversized military base AND new market for the likes of Walmart and HCA. However, not only are their intentions too horrendous for them to announce publicly, they're also INCOMPETENT in executing their nefarious plans. At least if they were competent, there wouldn't be this kind of spiraling chaos. This week was special. This week, not even braindead corporate media could ignore what has been going on for a very long time: serious sectarian violence and revenge killing. I would say that this week ALL of the 'election' buzz has worn off and no one can say that things are really turning around. Since Jordan pardoned Chalabi instead of throwing him in prison for bank fraud, I wonder what he's doing to improve relations between Iraq and Iran. WHAT A MESS.
