13:21 RIMM Research In Motion at J.P Morgan Conference (74.96 +2.51) -Update- Sub growth has been strong; just passed 3 mln mark for subs... believes Europe is just as big an opportunity as the U.S., as well as China; thus believe they can improve on 3 mln sub number... not walking away from enterprise market; sees a lot of growth in large enterprise market; co's core market... Blackberry connect program: will tie in another type of phone... believes handset market is going to be segmented for some time to come; believes investors are seeing the 'end game' coming far too soon... Co states that they created the market; says since they went public in '97 there has always been someone ready to 'kill RIMM"; believes this will be a very larger market, co says job is to create barriers of entry, reality is that for smaller competitors they spend more time talking about them to investors than to customers; says many solutions are dial in for the larger competitors. Just the charts..this stuff can go on and create daily noise.
