Then Republicans spend millions and lie like crazy to make the Dem into Daschle. Thune lied, lied, lied about the AFB that he claimed he could save but he still got his ninnies to vote him in. Frankly, Dems would do better to be outspoken like Galloway but too many of them have been at this wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy too long. Word is that soon after he got to Washington, Obama was whacked upside the head and told to sit down and shut up...or something to that effect. When was the last time anyone saw him? For that matter, where the heck is Edwards? Where is Dean? They're all good, strong, populist speakers but they seem to have fallen off the face of the planet.
