Probably because (1) it's the "parent" of the other two, (2) it's been the scapegoat of half of the world for hundreds, if not thousands of years, and (3) everybody, not just Ted assigns way too much importance to it.

When is importance dependent solely on numbers? Judaism has been around longer than Islam and Christianity......the latter two had their origins in Judaism. Important figures in Judaism also were principals in the other two religions, and so the three religions are intertwined. Furthermore, Israel, the Jewish state, is home to many of the artifacts that are important to the other two religions.

I read somewhere that Muslims in Muslim countries think the US is 85% Jewish. In reality it's 2%.
