Republicans gave some dems a hard time too. It is wrong on both sides. I dont think she is an extremeist but they have that Gonzales remark about her on one vote and that has hurt her. She is also a product of Rove. Remember Terry McAulliffe. Didnt you just hate him? I did. Would you have supported one of his proteges for dog catcher? I doubt it. Rove is a hated figure. Hell this is all politics. It aint pretty and it aint always fair but as JFK said "life is unfair". More important to find a face saving solution than to go nuclear. Too much animosity in our system now.
Take Bolton for a second. WAs there ever more of a stick in the eye appt than Bolton. Whether one likes him or not, you have to agree as to nominations provacative nature. Both parties need to step back from the abyss before this really gets out of hand. Go to FADG thread and you will see Stockboy Scott and others of his ilk questioning outcome of presidential election yet again. It is more important to quiet these folks down on both sides than to win every debating point. mike
