In Iraq, we don't even know who the enemy is yet. In fact, like in Vietnam (as we found out 20 years too late) we're probably caught between two sides in a civil war with some foreign fighters coming in and blowing themselves up all oiver the place. The debate over the war isn't about the troops. Everyone respects and supports them. The debate is over White House leadership or mis-leadership, that is whether or not Bush has done a good job in Iraq. The answer is decidedly NO. So as a people what do we do? We have to move against Bush in order to take back some of the power he has grabbed. And in order to push for a new gameplane in Iraq which includes getting the hell out of there and bringing in more international help. If may be too late to salvage Iraq, but we have to try. Whatever the case, Bush has us on the wrong track and the whole thing is unsustainable. Further, Bushies have been covering up their mistakes with a lot of propaganda. for instance, thre is some question as to whether this Zarqawi even exists.

Bush aids the enemy. He has given OBL every single thing that he wanted and then some: - OBL wanted to topple the secular regime of Iraq - done and by a Christian Crusading Infidel Nation no less - whooopeee. - OBL wanted US troops, especially women who drive cars and wear makeup, out of Saudi Arabia - done! - OBL wanted Islamists to take over the ME - did YOU SEE who is in power in Iraq, parties with names like: the Islamic Revolution. Ditto those in the 'elections' such as they were in Saudi Arabia. - OBL said a ME country would be occupied by the infidel West in order to steal its resources - done. - Iraq has become this generation's Afghanistan, a training ground for rage and religious extremism. Who needs book learning when you can shoot at real American soldiers? Have you seen how frequently the US Military talks about how well organized and sophisticated and resilient the insurgency is? They're LEARNING! Where the heck do you think OBL learned his stuff? - AQ is now in more countries, in more independent and hard to find cells than before 911. OOOPS. ------ If Bush was going to start an illegal war for oil profits, the least he could do was run it COMPETENTLY.
