Germans who opposed Hitler's rise to power were considered illegal obstructionists too. Your problem is, the filibuster is a legal process.

A (slim) partisan majority in the senate does NOT translate to popular majority support for that party's legislative agenda. Why is that so hard for some people (read wingnuts) to grasp? If the judges nominated were not overly partisan, the filibuster wouldn't be used. Judges should be above politics but the wingnuts want activist righty judges. Everyone knows the reason they do is to use the judiciary to further subvert the Constitution and destroy America as a democracy. Repugs are to blame for their own angst over the issue.

Republicans have used and, possibly, INTEND TO USE IN THE FUTURE, filibustering or the threat of it. If, in the wasteland that is your intellect, you expect majority rules everything then, the patriotic thing to do is: ELIMINATE THE SENATE. After all, the Senate is a MINORITY BODY. It is where RI has as much say as California. You don't get this even when it's put in front of your face do you? Didn't think so. BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!! Calling the cult deprogramming machine. Relax, this won't hurt...much.
