"They are going to ask the Senate Parlimentarian for a ruling."

Really??????????

That's GREAT NEWS... if it's true.

Sounds like Frist ain't planning on asking the official Senate Parlimentarian to rule on anything. :)

"...If his effort fails, Frist has said he will ask the chamber's presiding officer, Vice President Dick Cheney, to rule that a simple majority is sufficient to end debate on a judicial nomination."

"...The White House has made plans to ensure that Vice President Cheney will be presiding in his chair when the showdown occurs."
