To think that Gitmo guards were not capable of throwing the Koran in the toilet is to play the fool! I believe they are quite capable of it. That doesn't mean they did it. They might have but it isn't substantiated. The claim amounts to unsupported rumor, and publishing it without more support was reckless. We have become a nation of torturers. A vast exaggeration. How many bad reports do you need before you realize that torture is now a way of life for the US military? Seriously, Tim, what does it take to wake you up to the fact that this ain't your father's army.........that's assuming of course that torture was a relatively rare thing for the US military? When I read that had two guys not died from their American torture, they would have had to have their legs amputated because they were beaten so badly, I knew then we've gone over to the dark side.
