Hi Bill,

Glad to have you here.

I have posted a bunch of things about that. Basically, I think QQQQ will rally through the end of the year, and will finish about 20% higher from current levels. The general markets will also rally.

They are all in long-term uptrends, and have finished medium term corrections now.

So, they will revert to the underlying long-term trend (up).

But I see a lot of storm clouds gathering next year. I don't know exactly how things will develop yet, but I think there's a reasonable chance that this current bull run could be the last in a very long time. When might it end? I think the earliest will be sometime in 2006, so maybe Spring 2006 or so. But more likely, it will be later in the year. Really it is too soon to tell with any kind of accuracy, those are little more than guesstimates.

So, I am trying to take full advantage. I have virtually no cash position left. Today, I am not taking very good advantage however----I am short! Ouch!

Still the reasons why I went short in the first place are all intact. So I'm sticking with the plan, because I see no objective evidence that would prompt me to change the plan.

Feel free to post your thoughts on the trend in any time frame, and also in regards to any stock or index or futures, currencies, whatever. This board is certainly not limited to short-term QQQQ trading. That just happens to be a central theme, but not the only theme.
