Good grief Mq - you are slipping. <gg> Claiming to be aliterate is no excuse for misspelling illiterate. But you could be doing this tongue and cheek and I fell for it. I know it isn't as bad as a missed apostrophe but I could not find aliterate in the OED. (A good British book).
