Maybe your grandfather was missing a bit of Bedouin Michael, not the Utar Pradeshi. I need to do more research to figure out whether a particular individual will have the super duper Einsteinian brainpower.

Sure enough, Albert Einstein was an Ashkenazi Jew, so I'm on the right track.

But you know, I'm not really kidding with this DNA stuff. Okay, it's a partly said in jest, but things happen for a reason.

Imagine if the right smarts DNA could just be clipped into one's darling offspring's embryo. No more of the boring study to do well in exams and get top of the class. Everyone could be top of the class.

A new mother could plug the crucial DNA into the zygote and hey presto, a little genius but still much the same as the parents. The melanin, bone, blood, dimensions, liver function, kidney design, and 99% of the DNA could be the same. Maybe 99.9%. It's just that little bit of cerebral cortex [or whatever] which needs a bit of tweaking to do the tricky stuff.

The great thing is that intelligence doesn't have countervailing drawbacks. It's not like having big muscles for example, which requires a lot more protein and processing power to keep it going. It's not like high density bones which makes them very strong, but makes flying difficult [if one is a bird]. A skull can easily fit the Einsteinian type brains. A bit like a Pentium doesn't take more room or electricity than a crusty old 286.

It's time for some serious world-scale eugenics.
