This thread of discussion goes back to AMD vs. INTC, but that wasn't what we were talking about in this context.

The current topic of discussion was the "Who is the NVA?" topic.

You combine two opposed questions with a single qualifier in one sentence...

Not opposed at all.

I several (not just two) qualities that the NVA had and asked who in Iraq has them? The answer is no one. Nothing cheap about that, and nothing the precludes you from saying "but X is the most important aspect and even if the insurgency has none of the other qualities it has this one".

You don't think "they have sustained an offensive"? We've got one kid dying, on average, every day. About the same for 2 years... maybe increasing a bit. 12,000 kids maimed... I say that's sustained...

That isn't a sustained offense. That is guerilla hit and run attacks, combined with laying a few mines, and defensive operations at places like Fallujah.

Maybe if it was your kid you would see it different.

It it was my kid or if it was me it wouldn't change the facts of the situation.
