re: Are you asserting that life for the working class is hellish?

Hellish isn't my word, it's yours.

I'll assert that life for a family of four making $50K with no health insurance is a tight rope act. After they pay rent, gas, food, car payments, car insurance, buy school supplies, clothes, etc, they can't save a nickle. If somebody get's seriously sick, or get's laid off, they are bankrupt. And they just changed the bankruptcy laws so they are indentured for life.

Hellish? You tell me. This is supposedly the richest country in the world, and we recently gave the ultra wealthy a huge tax break. I suppose it depends on if things break good or bad for those hard working folks making $50K.

John

What about the hard working folks making $20K? Not allowed to have kids?
