Don't be stingy here Peter, extend it to 20 years, it may change your perspective. The idea is to get Canadians to start connecting the dots, if there was Fraud in Quebec, because the Liberals were trying to "Save Canada" well you can understand that they might be subject to irrational exuberance to save the country they love. If the investigation became Canada wide, well that is another story...... You can bet if they are stuffing their pockets with money that came from Newfie Fisherfolk that it will mean something to the people in Newfoundland. The same goes for people all the way to the left coast...... So Monday, around 10:30 am Mr Harper and that nice Mr Duceppe announce that they want an investigation into the finances of the National Liberal Party in every single province because they do not believe that such massive fraud could be a single occurence or restricted to only one province..... Harper has blown, probably the best chance he could ever hope to get, all because he couldn't control his emotions for a week. Time for a leadership convention methinks I blamed Harper too, which is exactly who was supposed to be blamed. Martin didn't sit down and figure this out. Harper is under the impression that He is the brains in the party. Martin is an industrialist, he knows enough to hire better brains than his. Belinda knows this, so should Harper have, but he didn't. His next move should be to tell Peter Mackay to start dating Belinda again.......Then he hires a brain trust....
