Spotted.Cat Are you a bike guy? I love the things and always have and have a whole collection of them, some I've had for over 30 years.

The little zippy two strokes like the RD don't really like the no lead gas if you run them hard at high revs. If you go slow and easy they are ok with it. And you need to advance the spark a little and run the carbs a bit on the rich side.

Its funny that these RD's really were considered fast back in their day, now you have to be careful you don't get run over by some grandmother in a Prius. All the cars on the road just fly nowadays. If I need to go fast I have a 1974 Z1 Kawasaki 900 that can fairly well keep up with the new sport bikes but barely. And the Z1 has 85 horsepower!
