I was just looking at those Fed figures, and all measures of money supply have certainly been growing less than the inflation rate. This is somewhat hard to understand, given the huge expansion of credit. However, it may be that lenders need to rebuild reserves and that is one reason for doubling credit card minimum payments.

Money is weird!!!
