Hi Kemble, I find it interesting how people mix up R&D as compared to Engineering. For example, Intel has to pour a lot of money into R&D and Engineering. Dell need budget only for Engineering. Intel does the R&D for Dell. If you wish, I can elaborate further, but I think you understand what I'm saying. By the way, Engineers get many, many patents. So do those who work in R&D. So, seeing many patents at Dell is no surprise at all. On another subject, what gets me is how little respect Dell gets on the Street. One of the best companies in the US, infact, in the World can't get their stock to move up. Larry
