Richards needs to look out for BIG GUSHMAN...
He's short today, and therefore, I suspect the GUSHMAN will win.

ROLL!

you have COMPQ AD weak while the Q remains levitated. The up volume is larger than down volume. This is just a guess but it takes only the top tier of large components in the Q to hold the index up...they are playing with it.

Right now they are holding the QQQQ up with QCOM,INTC,CSCO and AMGN

Something to consider. If they can erode this overbought condition with basically a sideways move the next spurt may be higher. Quite a little game eh?

...who you calling all? <g>.
Message 21341441

38.50 Qs => 2100 NAZ

...looks like the Qs/NAZ are stuck in a melt up, sustained by short covering - old shorts and now new shorts trying to catch a rising knife <g>.

Still no sell signal at all on the Qs, and now the SOX are showing continuation.

I don't think there's much use in trying to predict WHEN the selloff occurs, just be ready to react WHEN it does. Be on the lookout for a couple/few teaser selloffs, that will only suck in more early shorts, and keep us melting up.

Sorry to all who got/are snared in this short trap, as I did a little bit. Soon the opportunity will arrive to get it back though. Remember that NAZ gap at 2005 and Terry's comments about volume pressure.

Off to end-of-season little league party - we're playing kickball in the mud <g>.
