There was a person on SI before- maybe this is the same person- who posted at length about the same sorts of issues. The problem with engaging him was that it fed him, and energized him, and seemed to be exactly what he wanted. . So, even though most (or perhaps everyone) here disagree(s) with the ideas of the poster you have mentioned, I can completely understand why some people would refrain from posting to or about his ideas- since to do so can be seen as giving the man what he wants. Either way people go on the issue of posting to him, or about his ideas makes sense to me. People of good conscience could go both ways, imo.
