Like you, I always believed that the job of legislators was to make laws, and that the job of judges was to interpret them. When I go to the county fair, sometimes the legislator is judging events, but I would like to keep the separation of duties in the political arena.

President Bush wants to avoid activist judges. He has the right to appoint who he wants. After a small amount of debate the senate has the right to vote ot approve of deny approval. Clinton's judges are some of the most activist. The country needs balance restored.
