Freedom of religion in this country is very important. It's the main reason the USA was founded, remember. It's the reason the pilgrims came here. Freedom means protecting everyone's right to believe in what they want to believe in so long as they're not menacing their neighbors. And that includes the freedom to believe in anything or no organized religion whatsoever. I'm a member of a real church which doesn't try to force its views on anyone and is totally a-political. That's the way it should be. Any church which tries to get political or dictate morality I find repulsive and un-Christian. and the churches which are greedy fundraiser scammers are even worse. That defines almost the entire religious right. But not all evangelicals are wrongheaded. Billy Graham is non political and I respect him greatly.
