More people may have been murdered in dorms all over the world in the last two hundred years than at Abu Ghraib. But this is one of those little factoids that don't mean anything. The people who have been murdered in dorms were each murdered by a different individual, who did not represent the U.S. government. Those murders were not supported by my tax dollars, and did not tarnish America's reputation all over the world, and did not attract the attention of human rights organizations because of the egregious violations thereof.

Let's be clear--we are talking about the prolonged torture and sometimes death in many cases, of innocent civilian citizens of a country we forcefully invaded. No wonder American's reputation is tarnished!
