I wouldn't be surprised to read that ecoterrorists have done the most damage in the US in the last year but usually "biggest terrorist threat in the US", would focus on potential as well so I wouldn't really agree with the FBI's statement. I don't think any American ecoterrorist group would even consider a terrorist attack that caused mass human slaughter like 9/11. Perhaps I'm just being naive but I don't think so.

However I don't think the facts behind the statement are wrong. Ecoterrorism seems to be a growing problem.
