"Again........they don't care." At some point they will face The Argentine Generals' Dilemma... By the early 1980's, it was becoming clear to even the junta ruling Argentina that they didn't have the slightest clue how to run the country anywhere but into the ground. However, if they stepped down from power, then all the things they'd been doing to keep control would come to light and it was likely that the Argentinians weren't going to be particularly happy. So what to do? As we know, their solution was to invade the Falklands. Which, like most everything else they did, didn't exactly work as planned...
