Your words not mine. Nor does it follow my logic.

I agree. However, we don't throw the president in the brig when a soldier goes AWOL. We punish the soldier and hold the president responsible for the the general organization and policies of the Military. When the policies and conditions are determined to be sound, we leave it at that. If we can determine that the AWOL behavior is symptomatic of organizational deficiencies or excesses, we hold the administration responsible for initiating some changes. Would you prefer that we get a whipping post and place it in the WH lawn.
