I already mentioned the main trend I'm focusing on. Improvement in it is painfully slow, perhaps slower than it should be, certainly slower than we would want it to be, but it is improvement. Other possible measures don't really seem to be trending all that much. They get worse for a couple of months, than get better for a couple of months, and each side (pro-war and anti-war) alternately takes the short term change as a sign of a major trend in their favor.
