President Bush was ''alarmed by the reports of prisoner abuse" and wants them thoroughly investigated, White House spokesman Trent Duffy said, adding that seven people are being investigated in connection with abuse at Bagram Air Base.

Oh look, we were wrong. Mr. Bush is "alarmed by the prisoner abuse report". He was playing hackensack with some of his good buds when they walkie talkied him about the report. He raced back to the White House on his skateboard as fast as he could. Not to worry, everything is fine now. He will take care of the matter and make those bad guys write on the black board "Do not abuse the darkie prisoners" 5 thousand times.

American's good name will be cleared up and all will be right in the world! I think I will sleep well tonite knowing Mr. Bush is on top of it.

Are you asserting that the twin deficits are going to sink the US (either cause it to end, or cause a major decline), even if they don't get worse?

If you asserting that we can argue about it. If your not than your just attacking.

At some point, it would be nice if you backed it up with data

Data about the future is pretty hard to come by.
