3/7/2003 Legacy makes deal with Dell
Legacy Capital has purchased 194 acres on I-35W in North Fort Worth from Dell Computers with an option on an additional 233 acres. The transaction closed two weeks ago with each of the parties representing themselves>>>>

Here is 2/3 d's sq mile at Alliance Airport in Ft Worth
that Dell decided it had no use for. That was nearly one acre per planned employee which was probably a bit excessive anyway.

But I guess Dell decided that new centers in Oklahoma, Kentucky, and Waco could make up for the loss of the proposed Ft Worth operation which I was looking forward to visit as it would have been close by.

But like D.Mcarthur, Dell will return..someday.

Tiger Paw can fill you in on Austin facilities or activities as he worked for Dell and still lives there.

Would you care to bet whether the new Dell facility in Europe will be at or near an airport?
