It certainly didn't work quite like that when democrats held all the power. It would be one thing if Bush had nominated degenerates, but as far as I can see these nominees are qualified to highly qualified. What riles many of us is that they are being rejected because of their pov. That isn't enough to reject a candidate imo, and dems haven't convinced me that the positions these judges would hold would be dangerous or detrimental to our nation or for democracy.

Having an opinion doesn't legally disqualify a person from receiving an up or down vote in congress, or from holding office or winning conformation to a judicial position.

Dems are going to lose this battle.
