The real ballless sissies are those who wish to impose their fundamentalism on the whole society.

It's called compensation.

America is great precisely because we allow freedom here for one to believe as he/she chooses.

Moderates realize they have the power to take this country back. In case you hadn't noticed, one by one they're breaking ranks with Bush and coming together across party lines. In the senate 6 moderates from each party are trying to negotiate a filibuster deal. If these 12 are successful, they could and should stay together as a power block in the middle. They would have the power to block almost any Bush policy from there. They would come out looking like heros.

In the congress, Delay needs to go first, but that is in the cards.

Some of the same M.P.'s took a particular interest in an emotionally disturbed Afghan detainee who was known to eat his feces and mutilate himself with concertina wire. The soldiers kneed the man repeatedly in the legs and, at one point, chained him with his arms straight up in the air, Specialist Callaway told investigators. They also nicknamed him "Timmy," after a disabled child in the animated television series "South Park." One of the guards who beat the prisoner also taught him to screech like the cartoon character, Specialist Callaway said.

Eventually, the man was sent home.

...

Perhaps most tellingly, the soldiers felt they were justified in beating and torturing prisoners because the secretary of Defense, Donald Rumsfeld, had declared that the detainees, as "terrorists," were not covered under the Geneva Conventions. They took the gloves off. Just as their superiors told them to.

60 million idiots voted for Bush. Why is the US Military going begging for a few thousand recruits?

Why aren't you war mongering idiots beating down the door of recruiting stations demanding to enlist?

Why?

Cowards.
